I don’t know why I’ve never heard of Australian designer Johanna Johnson before, but I’m glad I stumbled upon her work when I did. Johanna’s wedding gowns have a distinct Art Deco style, and her new Templar Collection stands right to her aesthetic with its rich embellishments, bias cut, and cap veils. The heavy details on the gowns are inspired by early medieval jewelry, which is quite unexpected for a wedding dress. If you’re a fan of statement jewelry, you’re going to delight in the rest of this collection.
